Carols by Candlelight 2015 Info
I wanted to get you the information for our carols by Candlelight program. The doubletree Hotel has a conflict this year, so we are moving our concert to the Chattanooga Convention Center. This will allow us to do the concert in one performance. We will be using Ballrooms E through J. The address of the Chattanooga Convention Center is 1150 Carter St, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
Since we have not used this room before and will need to set-up the band and warm-up, I am asking the students to arrive at the convention center ballroom at 2:00. The band should wear the concert attire – girls in ALL black and boys in the tuxes with black bow tie and cummerbund. Boys should wear BLACK socks and black shoes.
The program will begin at 4:00pm. The cost will be $12.00 per ticket – just as last year. Tickets will be sold at the door. We will be able to accommodate 400+ people in this setting. Due to having to change sites and not getting the event settled until yesterday, the Executive Board has decided to sell tickets at the door with seating being first come. We will plan to begin selling tickets by 2:30pm on Sunday. As in the past, the concert will be a dessert concert with beverage.
I would like to personally thank our band parents, Darik and Deanne Dawes, for their help in securing this amazing facility for our concert.
I hope to see all of you on Sunday. This concert is always one of my favorite events and helps to set the mood for a wonderful holiday season.
