ETSBOA Concert Festival

Band Parents,

The East Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Association’s Lower Area Concert Festival is this week at Bradley Central High School in Cleveland. I have attached the itinerary for the two days that we will have Ooltewah ensembles performing. I hope many of you will be able to attend and support our band students. The students have been very diligent in their preparations for this event and the Music for All Regional Concert Festival in Atlanta next Thursday.

Please ensure that your child’s concert attire is cleaned and pressed for both of these important events.

Girls must wear All black attire.

Boys should wear their tux with black bow tie and cummerbund and a clean and pressed white shirt with BLACK socks and shoes.

I will send the itinerary for Atlanta later this week or very early next week. I am still defining some times. The event in Atlanta at Georgia State University is free. I hope some of you will be able to attend to support our bad members and to hear their performance. This will be an all-day event. We will leave from OHS at approximately 6:45am to beat the school traffic. We must be in Atlanta by 9:30.  Our return will be around midnight. Our last event ends at 9:00pm. Students will need monies for dinner and a snacks. The band boosters are preparing to provide lunch. Students might also want some money for souvenirs, but that is your decision.

Our after school rehearsal schedule for this week is:

  • Monday – 2:45-5:00
  • Tuesday – 6:30-8:30

Next week’s after school schedule is:

  • Monday-Wednesday 2:45-5:00.

If it is not needed, I will cancel the Monday after school rehearsal.

Thanks so much for your help and support!
